Website plus Domain Name Registration plus Hosting:

For $310* paid by check or money order:

• a website with up to 7 pages such as 'Welcome', 'Mission', 'Contact', 'Volunteer', 'Donate', & 'Issues'
• 1 year of a registered domain name
• 15 minutes/mn maintenance**
• 1 year of hosting
• plus a blog (web based - we set it up & you maintain) (example)
• plus a calendar (web based - we set it up & you maintain) (example)
• unique visitor counter, with report emailed to you weekly
• 2 hours of web site consulting (includes one hour at your location(if local to us) – w/i 25 miles one way or mileage charges will apply)

*$410 for 14 to 20 pages

Consulting Fees

For an additional $25 an hour*** we can come to your location or nearby and consult with you and/or the point person on this project to get your website up in a quick fashion. You can run the meeting or we will. We can discuss your logo, or need for one, technical questions, how to maintain your blog and event calendar, talk about podcasting, or whatever comes to mind.

***plus mileage one way for each meeting (2006: 44.5 cents/per mile)

Additionally:

We handle the purchase of the domain name for you and arrange hosting.

After the first year we will bill you $65 annually to reregister your domain name and host your site.

**We will also include 15 minutes worth of site maintenance to your site each month for the first year. You need only email us the text and instructions and we'll take care of it within 2 business days. If you require more changes during your first year beyond the 15 minutes a month we will bill you at a rate of $25/an hour (quarterly).

A support contract can be negotiated at your one year anniversary - that will roll your domain name, hosting and site maintenance into one monthly fee, based on your needs.

You won't find a better plan than this one. And we can provide references in the form of completed websites and testimonials. If you need to speak to a client or two, we can put you in touch with them. These prices don't include flash. They are designed to load quickly, have easy navigation, and be pleasing to the eye. Content is what you want your website to be about.

We will provide you with a written proposal. You pay half to start the process and half when we've completed the site and posted it to the Internet.

Additional Services Available, not included in fee:

• Java scripting : Text and photo effects, fees based on complexity of script.
• Submission of domain name to search engines : Someone in your organization should take on the task of notifying any website that is currently listing or would list your organization of your new website address. This same person could manually visit each of the popular search engines (WDI can supply a list if necessary) and request the new website address be added. WDI could do this for a fee of $25 an hour.
• Sign up form : $15 (more complex forms quoted individually).
• Password Protected Folders : $25
• Adding Audio or Video : $15 per clip to install, customer supplies completed clip.
• Custom digital photography by WDI : $25 an hour
• Stock Photography: $5 per photo if WDI needs to purchase photos for your website from a stock photography agency.
• Online Store for your logo merchandise: $50 set up fee to create an online store through Cafepress.com. You must have a 300dpi image to use or additional fees will apply.
• Podcast for promotional use, instructional use, etc .: quoted individually. Podcasts are a great way to get out your message. Using your voice over and digital photos we can take, the podcast, as a mpeg4, can be
• available for download on your website and/or
• copied to a CD and/or
• transferred to a flash disk and carried to a meeting to share and/or a potential funder to educate or impress.

FAQ

1. Are there other designs to choose from?

For this price the designs are limited, but we use your colors, and your logo, add any photos you want. Take a look at our other sites we've designed (above) to see what we mean.

2. How long will this process take?

We have found that it always depends on how quick you can get us the text for the pages. We can have your site completed and posted to the Internet within 48 hours of you submitting the final version of the text. (Weekends and vacation not included). If you find that you can't get going or get delayed you may want to contract with us to come in to consult to get you unstuck.

3. What if I'm not completely satisfied?

We can refund your money, minus the cost of the domain name, which would be yours to take elsewhere.

4. How do I know if 15 minutes a month for site maintenance is enough?

We have found that for most nonprofits their monthly changes don't amount to more that 15 minutes a month, on average. Meaning some months you may have a few minutes more, some months a bit less. That's why at the end of the first year we offer to negotiate a support contract so you can plan your budget and not be surprised by any bills from us.
